Whether especially cultivated for a tea ceremony, for eating and cooking, for guests or for enjoyment on the go - the everyday life of the Japanese is unimaginable without green tea. With a global share of two percent, the country produces comparatively little tea. And Japanese tea is also represented in the ranking of exported teas with only three percent. For this reason, the price level of the imported teas is correspondingly high.
