Many appreciate and love lavender because of its wonderful scent and beautiful purple flowers. The plant, which originally comes from the Mediterranean region, but is now also indigenous to us, is a popular ingredient in cosmetics and is particularly often found in lotions or bath products. It was even known to the ancient Romans and it could also be seen blooming in the monastery gardens of the Middle Ages. To this day, lavender has still not lost its status. And so for many people, lavender not only comes into the bathtub or the scented sachet, but also in the cup - in the form of lavender tea.
